Summary	This proposal is for the 570 curriculum support of the Total Ship Systems Engineering track within the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The funds will primarily go to support a faculty chair position of a former practicing design engineer within the Navy. This Professor of Practice position will coordinate all the courses taught within the TSSE curriculum that are offered to not only Mechanical Engineering students but which also include students from the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering and the Physics (Combat Systems) Department. This track also includes international students.
