Summary This project will leverage previous research to examine the feedback effects of both ambiguity and ambiguity coping strategies on cyclic decision making processes and Battlefield Information Flows. It will expand upon a previously developed model for Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) and a Blue Force information model of threat forces for current and future forces that realistically accounts for inaccurate / uncertain identification / classification / affiliation of acquired entities and accounts for imperfect association of this information. This effort will develop the knowledge and algorithms to represent the effects of ambiguity on decision-making in the areas of: Inaccurate identification / classification / affiliation of acquired entities, Incomplete / false information (e.g. sensor error), and Imperfect association of information.
