Summary | This proposal describes Multilevel Testbed research that is intended to demonstrate how U.S. participants can use a single workstation for multilevel access to U.S. and coalition WANS at different classification levels. In this ongoing project, current research is being conducted to explore the design and development of mechanisms that support emerging concepts for the Global Information Grid and network-centric warfare. In addition, this research is investigating extension of the number and type of applications supported by the Testbed. This proposal is to further design and develop prototype high assurance services to meet the multilevel requirements for military and intelligence operations. The effort is separated into two complementary activities: architectural research and investigations of applications to be supported in a multilevel context. |
