Summary The “Intelligence, Policy, and Democracy” MET aims to assist countries all over the world, which are facing serious problems of organized and street crime, as well as terrorism, to improve the effectiveness of intelligence and other security forces, in order to better cope with, and respond to, such threats, while also ensuring the institutionalization of robust control and oversight mechanisms, ethical safeguards, as well as transparency and openness. This seminar was coordinated with the USSOUTHCOM and the country team in El Salvador. The MASL number was established by the United States Navy. The Naval Postgraduate School will provide academic content, applicable frameworks and practical exercises for the Mobile Education Team (MET) Seminar on "Intelligence, Policy, and Democracy". The Naval Postgraduate School will provide academic content, applicable frameworks and practical exercises for three day Mobile Education Team (MET) Seminar on “Intelligence, Policy, and Democracy” in El Salvador, San Salvador. Approximately 40 participants from the Intelligence Agencies, as well as various Ministries, and civil society organizations are expected to attend the CMR MET.
