Summary	This project conducts operational effectiveness analysis to inform future operational concepts for mining and counter-mining. Specifically, it develops both architectural representations of mining and counter mining operations and conducts operational modeling to inform trade-off analyses from both a system and operational perspective. This research explores the scalability of minefield deployment and support, to include a comparison of delivery platforms, mine types, minefield monitoring/command and control, and potential contributions of smart mines. The analysis will identify the primary drivers of operational effectiveness, to include changes resulting from mission prioritization, and highlight potential conflicts between system design and operational capability.
