Summary This 5-day workshop is designed to equip senior level ministerial personnel with the essential procedural and legal knowledge of the UNPKO requirements, which will enable this emerging Troop Contributing Country to effectively deploy its designated peacekeeping contingent on UNPKO missions. This workshop will demonstrate international best practices required for deployable contingents to ensure selection probability, self sustainability, and increased training capability in the UNPKO realm.
The Administrative and Application Support Workshop is the baseline required 1st step in the Naval Postgraduate School Pathway to Deployment (PtD) program designed to assist TCC’s capacity building efforts to become self sufficient in providing sustainable UNPKO contingents. Successful execution of this workshop is a generally required prerequisite for the follow on PtD workshops, which utilize faculty from GSBPP, DRMI & GSOIS.
