Summary | Under this task agreement, the Spacecraft Research and Design Center (SRDC) of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) will perform the following tasks related to segmented mirror technology for the advanced systems and technology/advanced technology group (AS&T/ATG) of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Priority and detailed scope of the tasks shall be agreed between AS&T/ATG and SRDC on the basis of need and available resources. The tasks are support to the Segmented Mirror Testbed (SMT) program, mitigation of vibrational and acoustic perturbations, realignment of OTA, improvement of wave front sensors for segmented mirrors, robust control of a multi-output segmented mirror adaptive optics, and jitter control using adaptive filters. |
