Summary | Investigate CNT-enhanced fluids for heat transfer by focusing on the capability to form and maintain CNT connective paths within the fluid; Assess and characterize the thermal connectivity of CNT-enhanced fluids, through the experimental testing of electrical conductivity and performing correlation due to similar conduction mechanisms; Conductivity tests will be performed on samples of stationary fluid and repeated after storage, agitation, thermal cycling, and phase changes to determine the performance of the nanofluid under more operationally representative conditions; Conduct microscopy analysis to better understand the stability of CNT suspension. |
