Fiscal Year | 2009 |
Division | Graduate School of Engineering & Applied Science |
Department | Meteorology |
Investigator(s) | Wang, Qing |
Sponsor | Office of Naval Research (Navy) |
Summary | The specific objectives of the proposed work are: 1) to establish a comprehensive dataset and a set of variable matrix for high-resolution COAMPS evaluation; 2) to investigate new methods for model evaluation taking into considerations the model-observation differences are space and time dependent; and 3) to examine issues related to model physics in high-resolution (~km grid spacing) mesoscale models. |
