Summary |
This project examines the confluence of convervgent changes that are challenging the ability of the United States Navy to perform its missions in the 21st century. The changes, or â¿revolutions,â¿ must be successfully addressed if the Navy is to adapt, change, and develop a strategy to deal with an evolving and complex strategic environment. The concept of revolutions implies a prospect of change in which the outcome of the change creates something completely different than existed before. The era of change is upon the Navy, and it is unclear whether the institution can successfully innovate in ways that address the challenges. This project will deconstruct the different elements of revolutionary change facing the Navy and provide recommendations on how the Navy can adapt and change to successfully connect the dots in the end, ways, and means calculus that underlies the development of strategy. |
