Summary The Systems Engineering Analysis (SEA) faculty and students coordinate at least two cross campus research studies each fiscal year as part of the NPS Warfare Innovation Continuum and integral to the SEA program. The FY17-FY18 Warfare Innovation Continuum (WIC) titled " Distributed Maritime Operations: Allied, Combined, and Coalition contribution to Engineering Analysis with a central theme of exploring future methods for naval warfighting and operations. This continuum includes and annual NPS Warfare Innovation Continuum workshops which includes SEA faculty and students to advance the projects supported by this proposal. There are three SEA research projects being supported by this proposal and leveraging the WIC. The first two are titled " Designing a Fleet Architecture using Set Based Design" and "Unmanned Systems in Distributed Maritime Operations". The third study will be defined in coordination with OPNAB N91 in the first quarter of FY18.
