Summary | NPS researchers will utilize a systems engineering approach examine all aspects of the current TCP, while addressing the many areas important to the development of U.S. national security interests in the theater, such as the three listed above. Based on initial input from a key stakeholder, EUCOM, of particular interest to the decision maker is to enable useful, feasible, and repeatable TCP assessments. Additionally, this methodology should allow senior leaders (from SECDEF to Component commander) to: identify and outline 'decisions,' including chronology and supporting processes; reconcile different hierarchical DOD management perspectives, OSD plans and programs; and consider budgets and Service capabilities. Finally, we will identify opportunities to incorporate objective, quantitative measures into our theater assessments. |
