Summary | This project will continue the CCC's strategic dialogue between British and American national security experts on naval strategy, arms control, regional defense, and military cooperation in order to improve mutual understanding. With events like this conference, gradual progress will be made with regard towards openness and community building. Numerous topics have been broached at the unofficial level that would be beyond the pale in official dialogues. Moving forward, the CCC intends to continue efforts to solicit better-connected views from within the British system and discuss issues of interest in Washington and London through this meeting of the U.S.-U.K. Strategic Dialogue to be held in FY2010. |
