The Naval Postgraduate School will provide a 5-day workshop directed at senior level ministerial personnel tasked with managing UN reimbursements to Troop Contributing Countries (TCC's). This workshop will demonstrate international best practices required for deployable contingents to operate on a revenue neutral/positive status. The workshop is designed to enable participants to enhance their knowledge of effective reimbursement management to ensure selection probability, self-sustainability, and increased redeployment capability on UNPKO missions. The workshop will conclude with a plan outlining ways for Uruguay to maintain deployed peacekeepers and requisite equipment on a UN Mission and proposing the most appropriate method of U.N. Funds Reimbursement management to meet administrative and operational requirements of the UN. |
