Summary In response to SOUTHCOM's request for assistance with a train-the-trainer program to enhance regional military UN Peacekeepers' understanding of and compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 1325, as well as learn best practices and way forward with inclusion of women in peace and security, NPS faculty developed and implemented program of instruction curricula of the current gender program at the Chilean Joint Peacekeeping Operations Centre (CECOPAC). This proposal is for follow-on work involved in the oversight, customization and delivery of Phase 3B of the Women, Peace and Security train-the-trainer program to be delivered in Lima, Peru with CECOPAC trained staff from participating regional partners in FY20.
