Summary |
The US Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic Executive Steering Group (ESG) offsite is to provide the ESG team the stage for rolling out RADM Korka’s NAVFAC Strategic Design 2.0 and the identified strategic initiatives. SCOPE OF WORK: The Naval Postgraduate School will be providing discussions on problem solving style and leveraging the diversity of preferences as a way to incorporate into a team discussion / way ahead for RADM Korka’s NAVFAC Strategic Design 2.0. As part of this discussion, the participants will complete the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory (KAI) for their own professional development. The KAI measures style of problem solving and creativity. The objectives of the discussions: - To have the conversations necessary to continue development as a powerful and mutually supportive Executive Steering Group. - To become more comfortable stepping away from the way we have always done things and to become more resilient about embracing improvements and change. - To better understand, value and tap our individual differences as resources for working effectively as the Executive Steering Group. - To continue to learn more about each other as people and to have fun together while we develop our individual and combined capability to lead. |
