Summary IPCOE exists to Ignite a Culture of Innovation and Learning. We invest in ideas that are 1) compelling and relevant, 2) sustainable, and 3) ignite competitive advantage. We are positioned not only 3,000 miles from headquarters at the Naval Postgraduate School and at the doorstep of Silicon Valley, but in a manner in which we can teach others how to best leverage technology and business practices to achieve higher productivity with fewer resources. To achieve this mission, IPCOE intends to conduct disruptive, provocative courses for Navy IT professionals. These courses support the IP Community's continuous learning requirements for graduate level education. The IPCOE maintains: a web site and portal to facilitate 24/7 global student registration and administration; a learning management system; classrooms and labs that encourage experimentation and learning. IPCOE mission execution requires frequent training and travel for the entire staff. IPCOE employs a contractual support assistant who coordinates business operations and student administration.
