Summary The Practical Comptrollership Course (PCC) is an intensive two-week course in defense financial management and is part of the Department of the Navy Civilian Financial Management Career Program. The PCC is specifically designed for individuals (civilian and military) who are either incumbent or about to report to responsible positions in financial management at the major command / budget submitting office level, a subordinate command, or field level activity. The course content reaches across all financial management disciplines including: planning, budgeting, budget execution, fiscal law, working capital funds, reimbursables, accounting, and internal control. In FY 2007, the course will be offered five times, three times at NPS, Monterey, CA and twice at Navy concentration areas such as San Diego and Norfolk.
