Summary | Extend prior results using the concept of weighted interpolants. The concept of weighted interpolation allows us to explore new ideas to further the covector mapping principle. The covector mapping principle is a powerful concept for algorithm development as well as practical applications. In its computational implementation, the covector mapping principle is integral to the success of the spectral algorithm. In practice, the principle is extremely useful in performing pre-flight checkouts of the solutions obtained as was done in the recent TRACE flight experiment. |
