Continued participation in the AFRL-lead (Rome, NY) HF propagation measuring and analysis experiment. Investigation of the current state-of-the-art of digital HF communications technology, including military systems, other US government systems, and commercial systems, as well as amateur systems. Verification of ionosphere modeling and HF propagation prediction software. Investigation of methods to evolve HF digital communications technology in order to improve the bandwidth, reliability, security, and cost of HF digital communications. |
