Summary | The goal of this project is to develop new optimal trajectories for a carrier landing by manned or unmanned aircraft. We propose to use our previous research that resulted in the development of a computational and theoretical framework for generation of optimal trajectories for uncertain dynamical systems in the presence of environmental uncertainties. These tools will allow us to explicitly address the uncertainties inherent in combined aircraft - carrier system when generating optimal carrier landing trajectories. |
