Summary | In 2019, NPS received $375K to support the ongoing development of Human Systems Integration practices throughout DOD. The activities identified for the funding emerged from a capabilities-based assessment conducted in 2017. The objective of the 2019 funding was (1) to develop an HSI Body of Knowledge (BOK) and (2) to develop an HSI Competency Review and Alignment (HCRA) that can provide feedback to determine when and how to invest in HSI workforce training and education. The 2021 funding will extend the work begun with the initially funding. Specifically, the objectives of the follow-on work are to (1) support HSI BoK and HCRA implementation, (2) enhance databases and tools to support the HSI Workforce, and (3) develop the HSI knowledge management community of practice. |
