Summary The CORE LAB will work with USSOCOM to support the further development of its patent pending tool, Dynamic Tweet Network Analysis (DTNA). The CORE Lab seeks to further develop DTNA by further development of the existing web-application that allows an analyst to: I) collect information on Twitter by hashtag, username, or keyword; 2) visualize this information or network in real-time; and 3) change initial search criteria based on the visualization and applied social network analysis properties. Additionally, the CORE Lab seeks to implement sentiment analysis of multi-lingual tweets and improve the website portal and user-interface. Through this development the CORE Lab seeks to work with interested partner to support testing the application in an operational scenario. Development of DTNA will provide the following operational and performance capabilities: I) Move beyond standard searching for information and identify trending topics and sentiment polarity; 2) enable visualization and analysis of central topics and users of population centric data in real-time; 3) develop website portal for searching and visualizing population-centric Twitter data; 4) fusion and integration of social media encompassing SNA, geospatial, temporal and sentiment analysis and; 5) social media analysis requirements that support USSOCOM, TSOC's, and MISOC current and future operations.
