Summary | This statement of work describes a program for conducting Monterey Phoenix research & development that supports cyber and cryptologic -related applications in the defense and national security domains. The main objectives of Monterey Phoenix research are to 1) expand the application of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in all disciplines, and 2) enhance our basic understanding of computer-assisted reasoning. Towards these objectives, we will stand up an activity at NPS that solicits research proposals applying MP to problems of interest to the Agency from NPS faculty across departments and schools. We will solicit 1-2 year proposals for amounts ranging from $50K-$100K per year, and integrate and communicate the research results in an annual showcase event. |
