Summary	Funds are requested to support graduate students to attend the 2012 Gene Golub SIAM Summer School (G2S3), to take place on the two weeks of July 29 through August 10 in Monterey, California near the campus of the Naval Postgraduate School. In 2012 the topic of the summer school will be "Simulation and Supercomputing in the Geosciences". The funds would be used to cover transportation, lodging, and meals for participating graduate students.
