Summary | The Regional Security Education Program (RSEP) will provide graduate-level education on regional political-military matters incorporating historical and cultural perspectives and current affairs to prepare Carrier Strike Groups, Expeditionary Strike Groups, and other independent deploying units and staffs. This education will incorporate cultural awareness and sensitivity training to enhance strike group mission readiness and regional situational awareness. RSEP is an integral part of the Navy's Language, Regional, Expertise, and Culture (LREC) program directed by the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and administered for the Navy by the Chief of Naval Personnel (CNP/N1)(N13) and the U.S. Fleet Forces Command. |
