Summary	This research leverages the cellular experimentation capability established at NPS by exploring combat relevant applications suitable for suitable for deployment on cellular handsets, advancing the study and state-of-the-art for transient access to sensitive information on smart-phones or extremely small form factor mobile computation devices, investigating voice-identification/recognition capabilities to augment user authentication, and investigate the ability to establish ad-hoc networks using commercial-off-the-shelf cellular devices. Reports generated by the research, in terms of these and/or technical papers will be provided to the sponsor to provide program advice and acquisition decision guidance.
