Summary	This project will provide sponsored research to the Office of Naval Research (ONR) program, entitled Naval Enterprise Partnership Teaming with Universities for National Excellence (NEPTUNE). NEPTUNE is a Workforce Development and Energy focused effort, which directly advances three of the six goals and objectives of the Department of the Navy: 1. Take Care of Our People 2. Lead the Nation in Sustainable Energy 3. Drive Innovative Enterprise Transformation This effort will both continue and expand the work that is underway in FY16 under NEPTUNE. It will include both continuations of current work, as well as proposed new efforts.
