Summary | The proposed project aims to develop robust and efficient numerical methods and codes to solve the kinetic equations and mesoscopic tensor equations for rod-like polymers in the presence of flows and external fields; to characterize solution behavior of the Smoluchowski equation of general potentials; to study the effects of flow coupling and the effects of weak compressibility on complex fluids. |
