Summary |
This Mobile Education Team (MET) course is EIMET certified, and IMET funded through the Naval Education Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA) CCMR MASL P309465. The U.S. Embassy, Kigali, through the NETSAFA system ordered the course from the approved NETSAFA course catalog. This short course will be delivered to members of the Rwandan Defense Forces in Kigali, Rwanda. It addresses the challenges and benefits of integrating women into a country's armed forces. This topic is part of the AFRICOM security cooperation plan of engagement with Rwanda. The role of women in Rwanda's political realm is well advanced and the country is now working to better integrate women into the defense forces. |
