Summary This study will build on FY2019-2020-2021-2022 research on the capability of allied diesel submarine this research will further dive into key areas of interest identify in the previous study. Given the current and future limited availability of submarines to support SOF brings about the need to find alternate solution for undersea insertion of special forces. NATO partners utilize a variety of advanced diesel submarines that might be well suited for mission partnerships. This research will survey allied and partner submarine capabilities with respect to use for US SOF. It will also look at what changes should or could be made to be interoperable with our partners who are willing and share common interests and objectives.
