Summary | This research develops new tools to support prescribed burns at Ft. Ord, California. Given that no burns are planned in the coming year, this effort will maintain all existing observational systems for future burns. In addition, new products to improve the web page planning tool will be developed. These include a robust local analysis to show surface flows and temperatures and a statistical post-processing model to improve the accuracy of the forecast page and provide more definitive probability information to use in future burn planning. |
