Summary | In order to charge the capacitors that power the Railgun a charging supply is needed. This project focuses on the development of a series-loaded resonant (SLR) converter and transformer to charge the Railgun capacitors. This topology is commonly referred to as an LLC converter. MSEE and PhD students at NPS will be encouraged to participate to satisfy their thesis requirements. |
