Summary | The Department of Information Science, Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) shall perform Non-Traditional Assessment (NTA) as the interim-Operational Test Agent (OTA) for the Joint Capabilities Technology Demonstration (JCTD) for the Rapid Open Geospatial User Environment (ROGUE) Operational Manager (US Southern Command) and the ROGUE JCTD Integrated Planning Team (IPT)/Integrated Management Team (IMT) during research and development of the ROGUE project. This project is a 4-5 month effort. 1.3. The objective of the ROGUE JCTD is to develop a 100% open and unclassified geospatial data, data mediation, and analytical software services to support Unclassified Information Sharing Capability (UISC) web services and as an executable on a single platform. ROGUE uses best capabilities of open geospatial software, open standards, and validated web practices. Crowd sourcing, volunteered geospatial information (VGI), assured access, discovery and dissemination of data and information based upon mission/operational indexing to data and information (JTF-to-Tactical Edge, with operationally relevant analytic services, location based services and handheld applications (Capability to the Tactical Edge). |
