Summary |
The CCMR-LDESP program supports combatant and service command security cooperation efforts and regional partnerships by conducting workshops, seminars and distance learning courses to orient participants to the history, culture, security and political situation, regional relations and the military of associated region/country in the USARCENT AOR. Support includes conducting Theatre Security Cooperation seminars, Campaign planning workshops and regional assessments. The purpose of these workshops is to engage Scholars, the CG and senior leaders, and other key leaders from US Army Central in a dialogue regarding the chief problem sets and issues that are likely to cause volatility in the region 2-5 years from now, which will then shape the Commanders intent, identify priorities and drive the development of the USARCENT campaign plan. |
