Summary | A device will be designed and constructed to allow the passive characterization of Mark 74 gas generators via plume emission spectra associated with the exhaust products. A selectable infrared emission spectrum range with a bandpass of 3 microns will be combined with high-frequency narrow-band infrared emission measurements to provide temporal and spatial information regarding species emission near the exhaust plane of the gas generator unit. |
