Summary | The Overhead Persistent lnfraRed (OPIR) provides pcrsis1cnt infrared coverage from space. One of lite most challenging tusks for further enhancement of the OPIR capabilities is in the development of efficient and accurate detection and tracking algorithms for moving ground targets. The objective of the project is to investigate algorithms suitable for detection and tracking of moving ground targets for OPIR optics and evaluate the effectiveness of these algorithms. NPS will investigate various tacking algorithms based on available trackers considered in the past and evaluate their performance on simulated OPIR sensor data. |
