Summary | This collaboration will bring together NPS' s expertise in designing VTOL UAVs and UCI's operational requirements knowledge and technology transition experience to create a new capability that could prove to be valuable for a variety of DoD, first responder as well as commercial applications. For example, this system would provide valuable, real-time intelligence during unfolding situations, such as a fire or police standoff. It would also be able to serve as a communications relay in a disaster-torn location where local terrestrial infrastructure is damaged or off-line. |
