Summary The work investigates embedding the teaching and cultivation of innovation adoption practices into a warfare center's workflow to accelerate the design and adoption of innovative processes and products. It begins with expanding the 10-week syllabus from the course CS4925 Innovation Leadership to fit 10-month work cycle at the Carderock Naval Surface Warfare Center. The materials will be presented by Carderock managers to NSWC personnel across their workforce. The initial work, in FY21, focuses on working with select Carderock leaders to adapt the CS4925 materials and practices to fit the War Center's workflow and culture. This work includes participating in the design of a syllabus, lessons, exercises, administration, and training sessions. The FY22 work entails aiding in the implementation of the training materials, through training the trainers, facilitating the practices, and occasional presenting core concepts. In both FY21 and FY22 we will focus on how to adapt the content and delivery of the course materials to fit Carderock's culture and promote a community of innovation and adoption.
