Summary The efforts outlined here build off of previous projects executed successfully for the CWMD Systems Office by NPS/DA. These include foundational research on the nature and importance of networked relationships within the USG CP/CWMD community, as well as with partner nations, alliance structures, and inter-governmental organizations. Similarly, the impact of emerging technology, as well as that of emerging actors, continues to shape the future of proliferation. These efforts are timely as USSOCOM endeavors to understand and shape the upstream CWMD environment. This set of projects leverages the operational expertise, academic rigor, and strategic focus of the DZ Department to enable and accelerate the delivery of key CWMD analytical and information management capabilities, to develop CWMD operational concepts through research; and to strengthen collaboration among the CWMD community of practice.
