Summary	To make significant advances on weather prediction over mountainous terrain. NPS would participate as part of a multi-institution, multi-disciplinary team working on this problem. NPS will work closely with NRL to use and advance the Navy's COAMPS model, with ensemble data assimilation, to quantify potential impact of new observation strategies including, for example, UAV-borne observations.
