Summary | Environmental properties, temperature, pressure, humidity and winds (PTH+winds) play a significant role in flight testing and the support of forward deployed warfighters. A novel Miniature Air Launched Rawinsonde Dropsonde (MALRD) has been developed for measurements of PTH+winds that can be launched from a multitude of air vehicles. The objective of this proposal is to proof the effectiveness of the MALRD system and the validity of the data. |
