Summary The objective of this proposal is to explore the optimal control framework for the integrated control, optimization and autonomous operations of a number of problems that arise in the engineering and operations of space systems, autonomous ground vehicles, autonomous aerial vehicles, and other autonomous vehicles that are of interest to the military and intelligence communities. The proposed approach is exploratory in nature, and if successful, is expected to have a long-term sustained impact on the development of military systems.
