Summary	The research proposed is a part of a larger ONR sponsored project collaboration with the University of Connecticut, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Naval Research Lab - Monterey. This is a 4-year project in which UCONN and NJIT will develop AI for proactive decision support systems to be integrated with maritime planning software. Over the 4 years, experimentation will be run at NPS after each proposed enhancement of the decision support system. Years 1-3 will explore individual decision making with and without the decision support system enhancements. Year 4 will test group decision making with the systems. The individual decision making experiments will start off with a simple route planning experiment, and subsequent years will increase complexity of the routes and uncertainty, using more complex software.
