Summary | Conduct applied research and experimentation into the utilization and applicability of advanced Seismic Acoustic Sensors (SAS) to detect, identify and track maritime and land vessels within the Port of Hueneme Commercial and Military port. Experimentation will be conducted in parallel with the Coastal Trident Regional Maritime Security Program in order to evaluate applicability of SAS systems in real-world operations and to further define the concept of operations within a multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional environment. SAS System will be integrated into the Sensor Island for real-time sharing of information within a Common Operations Picture supporting a Unified Command Structure. |
