Summary This project focuses on characterizing the atmospheric refractive index parameter (Cn2) from multiple phases of field measurements and large eddy simulation (LES) modeling. The objective is to collect and analyze a large number of scintillation measurements with corresponding meteorological conditions for validating and improving atmospheric optical turbulence characterization and predictions. This effort also develops an optical turbulence database for future research and development.
