Summary The goal for this working group is to integrate Operational Energy factors and considerations into the services' and joint operational planning processes. Achieving this goal will benefit U.S. and partner nation military forces by lowering operational and strategic risk; improving military capabilities, and strengthen energy security in support of military operations. The end state for this task is twofold: 1) incorporate Operational Energy factors and considerations into the services' and Joint Operational Planning doctrine and 2) incorporate Operational Energy factors and considerations into the services? and Joint professional education curriculum; specifically, at the Naval War College and the Marine Corps University.
