Summary | The Practical Comptrollership Course (PCC) is an intensive one-week course in defense financial management and is part of the Department of the Nave Civilian Financial Management Career Program Roadmap. The PCC is specifically designed for individuals (civilian and military) who are either incumbent or about to report to responsible positions in financial management at the major command/budget submitting office level, a subordinate command, or field level activity. The course content reaches across all financial management disciplines including: planning, budgeting, budget executing, fiscal law, working capital funds, reimbursable, accounting, and internal controls. In FY 2012, the course will be offered six times, one session at NPS, Monterey, CA and five sessions at off-sited locations. Four by-request locations will be included in FY12 (Yokosuka, Japan, Camp Pendelton, CA, Orlando, FL, and Norfolk, VA). At each of these locations, a command will host the session and provide logistics support. |
