Summary | Using a design thinking approach, this research will look at the role of non-monetary incentives in the retention of high value personnel in the Marine Corps. We will begin with a literature review on non-monetary incentives for retention. We will then look at the attitudes, beliefs, motivations and behaviors that impact the retention of one at risk population-the DoD cyber community. Finally, we will conduct a workshop that looks at solutions to the retention challenges facing the Marine Corps cyber community. This research will result in a thesis on non-monetary incentives for cyber retention and deliver policy recommendations and prototypes. |
