Summary | This continuing research effort consists of the ongoing development of a prototype of a tactical decision aid (TDA) for maritime search and surveillance missions during counter-drug operations, with a particular focus on the situation faced by Joint Inter-Agency Task Force (JIATF) South. The TDA will provide situational awareness for a commander during counter-drug operations within an area of operations (AO), such as the Caribbean and the Eastern Pacific, and also efficiently allocate available search assets within that AO. |
